If Github Desktop also received this error, you may not have logged into the account. You can try to solve the problem by logging in to the account.
If you have already checked in, select to sign in with the scanner. It will resolve the problem by taking all the information required from your github account from the browser you are logging in to.
As another solution, you can resolve the issue by creating a PAT (Personal Access Token) in your GitHub account and using it instead of my account password in the Go to Desktop “Push to Origin” step.
Use Username + PAT instead of User Name + Password when logging in.
